Financial Assistance

At BostonGene we understand the many challenges patients face when fighting cancer, financial burden being one of them. We are committed to work with your unique financial situation and find a way to make our test affordable.

For us to make a determination, we ask you to fill out and sign a one-page application and return it via email, fax or mail. We encourage you to apply prior to the test administration, but if you don’t, the program is available to you at any point of the journey. The program covers longitudinal testing for up to 18 months.

For patients with insurance, we will bill your insurance first and the qualified assistance will be applied to any balance deemed as the patient’s responsibility after insurance processes our claim. Please note that once a claim is submitted to your insurance, you might receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from them, notifying you of the status of our claim and how they are planning to process it. THIS IS NOT A BILL. We will work with your insurance to get the best coverage for you, including filing an appeal on your behalf in case of a denial. Qualified Financial Assistance will be applied after we exhaust all options with your insurance.

At BostonGene we believe each patient should have access to medically necessary services ordered by your physician. That’s why we designed a Financial Assistance program that could offer a better understanding of what your maximum out-of-pocket cost would be and allow you some financial flexibility.

All U.S.-based patients are eligible to apply for assistance, regardless of their insurance status. Applications are processed within 1-2 business days. The results will be communicated to you by the preferred method indicated on the application.

While the program is not available to international patients, we provide a discounted self-pay price and are able to work out an affordable payment plan to fit into your financial situation.
