Scientific Graphic Designer

Position Summary

BostonGene is seeking a highly motivated Scientific Graphic Designer to focus on developing visual content, including 2D/3D illustrations, vector graphics, infographics for research manuscripts, and other digital and printing materials.


  • Develop infographics, slide decks, illustrations, posters, and other visual materials related to IT, biology, and healthcare
  • Collaborate with the design, R&D, and marketing teams to develop high-quality illustrations for scientific journal publications, covers, conference posters, visual guides, and instructions for target audiences with different backgrounds explaining technical and scientific topics related to cellular biology and health care


  • Advanced knowledge in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite including Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Knowledge of biology as a plus
  • High attention to detail
  • A self-started with the ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment
  • Possess a portfolio with successfully launched projects
  • BS/BA or MS in Biological sciences or related field
