Scientific Writer/Editor

Position Summary

BostonGene is seeking a highly motivated Scientific Writer/Editor to play a crucial role in BostonGene’s employee education program. This candidate will participate in creating upskilling presentations and writing scientific texts and articles for comprehensive onboarding/employee development programs.


  • Research and develop a range of materials on a specific topic
  • Write and edit long reads for internal education program
  • Support development of program materials such as internal vocabulary, writing, and editing short popular science articles as terms description
  • Edit training materials as required
  • Work with BostonGene’s internal teams to brainstorm content ideas and collect feedback
  • Keep all materials up to date, as our technologies are constantly improving
  • Write articles and develop content for external HR campaigns


  • Student, Science journalist, or an expert with professional experience in molecular biology, immunology and/or fundamental medicine
  • Experience in writing popular science texts
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment of biotech, immunology and/or cancer biology fields
  • Experience in writing for a variety of diverse audiences
  • Writing portfolio desired
  • BS/BA or MS in Biological sciences or related field
